So I dont understand why everything that is happening in my life right now is happening, but I have to trust in the lord that it is all happening for a particular reason.  You never know when something that happens today may just be preparing you for something bigger and better to come in the future.  But for now it is hard to keep on having faith, even when things are not always great!

Lately I have found myself asking, why are we all so consumed with ourselves?  Why am I so consumed with what others think and feel about me?  I know that it is important to take care of myself, but I know that it is so much more important to care about others.  I seem to be getting so wrapped up in the petty parts of my life, that I have forgotten that there are so many people around who I need to show my love and interest in.  It seems like every time I get stressed I forget about everyone else, and put total focus on myself.  I have decided that no longer will stress take its toll on me!! Life is too short to worry about the petty things,  I have too much life left to live to be worried about the small things!!

So Christmas break was amazing, and then Rush began...It was not my favorite week, but it was livable!  I think I finally realized why "Baylor Girls" have the reputation that they do...and I am not one of them!!!   So I am now officially an Alpha Delta Pi, and I am so excited!!  Throughout the whole week of Rush I prayed continuously about my decision, and I feel that God has put me where I belong.   I feel so comfortable with all of my new sisters, and I have the best twin sis and Big sis ever!  Right now my dorm room is filled with an excess of ADPi stuff, but I love it!!  Thanks to everyone who prayed for me and counseled me during this past week....It was a long week, but it has all paid off in the end. Class has now started, and I have decided that I am going to Study in advance this semester so I don't have to stress and cram for exams and finals.  Sounds like a good plan!! Hope that everyone is doing well, and that you realize how blessed that we all are!
